Terms of Service
The terms on which institutions, examiners and staff use the platform for setting papers, evaluating scripts and publishing results.
Accounts
Accounts are created for an institution's examination wing. The institution is responsible for appointing users, assigning roles and removing access when an examiner or staff member is no longer authorised.
Examiner responsibilities
- Mark only scripts allocated to you, and award every mark using your own academic judgement.
- Do not attempt to identify candidates, copy, photograph or share any page of a question paper or answer script.
- Keep your login and approved device secure and report any suspected misuse immediately.
Assessment decisions
The AI Marking Assistant is a support tool. Marks, moderation outcomes, revaluation decisions and results are decisions of the institution and its examiners. We are not responsible for academic judgements made using the platform.
Confidentiality
Question papers, scripts and marks are confidential information of the institution. We will not access them except to provide support requested by the institution, to keep the service secure, or where required by law.
Fees
Fees are charged per answer script evaluated, according to the plan and order form agreed with the institution. Scripts above the committed volume are billed after each exam session. Applicable taxes are additional.
Free exam
The free exam allows one examination of up to 500 scripts. It is provided for evaluation purposes, and data from it is deleted 90 days after results unless the institution moves to a paid plan.
Availability
We plan maintenance outside notified exam and evaluation windows. Marks entered by examiners are saved continuously so that a lost connection does not lose work.
Acceptable use
The platform may not be used to conduct exams for any unlawful purpose, to process data without a lawful basis, or to attempt to break its security, masking or access controls.
Termination
On termination, the institution may export its question banks, marks, results and scripts within 60 days, after which data is deleted except where retention is required by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the competent courts in India have jurisdiction.
