AI Marking Assistant
The AI reads alongside. The examiner decides.
The AI Marking Assistant highlights where an answer touches the model answer's key points, reminds the examiner of pages not yet viewed and adds up totals. It never awards a mark.

Capabilities
What AI Marking Assistant does.
Key-point highlights
When a passage matches a point in the model answer, it is softly highlighted with the point number. The examiner can agree, ignore or dismiss it.
Unviewed page reminders
If a page of the booklet was never opened, the examiner is reminded before submitting. Answers written on extra sheets are not missed.
Automatic totalling
Question marks are added, choice rules applied (best 5 of 7) and the total checked against maximum marks for each section.
Unmarked question alerts
Any attempted question without a mark blocks submission until the examiner marks it or records it as not attempted.
Handwriting support
Reads handwritten English and major Indian languages. Where the AI is unsure, it says so and highlights nothing.
Every suggestion logged
What the AI highlighted and what the examiner did is recorded, so revaluation committees see exactly how a mark was reached.
How it runs
Step by step, in the exam season.
- 1
Model answer loaded
Key points and marking scheme come from the Question Bank or are entered by the head examiner.
- 2
Examiner reads
The booklet opens with highlights shown beside the answer, not in place of it.
- 3
Examiner marks
Marks are entered by the examiner for every question. The AI cannot fill a marks cell.
- 4
Checks before submit
Unviewed pages, unmarked questions and totals are checked before the script is sent.
In detail
Responsible AI, written into the product
Assessment decides a student's future. We built the assistant around one rule: a qualified examiner awards every mark. The AI's job is to reduce oversight errors, not to judge answers.
- Examiners award every mark; AI only highlights, reminds and totals
- Student identities are masked during evaluation
- Every mark, change and re-check is logged for audit and revaluation
- Data from minors is used only for assessment, never for advertising
- Scripts are never used to train models for other institutions
Questions
About AI Marking Assistant
Q1Does the AI give marks?
No. Examiners award every mark. The AI highlights key points, reminds about unviewed pages and adds up totals.
Q2Can we switch the AI off?
Yes, per exam, per course or per examiner. Totalling and unviewed-page checks can stay on even when highlights are off.
